Hey! My name is Brandon Terry. I currently work as a QA/QC Tester. I have 10+ years of experience in the IT sector from help desk and network support to Director of IT and system/network administrator. Along with my professional technical experience, I’ve had the privilege of teaching professionally and voluntarily for the past decade in various settings from college meetings to teaching seminary classes in Haiti and Nicaragua. Coaching Style
- It is my desire to not only help you learn the English language in the technical field but I want to prepare you for what you need. I want to offer two types of coaching:
1. English Coaching for Technical Conversation: I want to help you learn not only the definitions for words in English conversation and their proper use in technical conversation, but also common technical acronyms, for example: AD (Active Directory) and DNS (Domain Name Service).
2. English Coaching For Certifications: I want to help you prepare for either the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or the CompTIA Security+. I will be using the materials from the current certifications to assist you in learning English that will help you in your own studies as you pursue these certifications.
- Part of my philosophy on teaching and coaching is letting you know on the front-end that I do not know everything and do not claim to know everything. I am a learner. I love to learn. So, as we converse I will be learning as much from you as you will be learning from me. I also love to help others learn, so if you have a and I do not know the answer, I will make it a point to help you find the answer.
