What happens if only one learner signs up for my discussion club session?
If it is 24 hours before a discussion club session and there is only one learner booked in the slot, the coach can cancel the session with no penalty. The learner’s credits will be returned and they will be informed that the reason for the cancellation was low enrollment. This policy is intended to protect coaches from being stuck teaching an hour-long session to one learner and only being paid for that one seat which would likely be a lower price than their one-to-one lesson fee. Additionally, learners book a discussion club session because they want to learn in a group setting, so we want to honor that intention by giving those learners an opportunity to book a different session (or future session) that has more participants.
